This spring, my CDA students surprised me by nominating me for the British Columbia Dental Hygiene Association’s (BCDHA CDA Alliance) Educator of the Year Award – and I won!! I could not have been more delighted – I love my students and the professionals they have become. They raised me up and celebrated me. They reminded me that this is what we do: we support, we cheer, and we help each other. This is the true meaning of Teamwork!
